Upon installation the Dr. Nalova Lyonga, Vice Chancellor in the University of Buea made it clear that: “All stakeholders should bring their cards to the table and we shall take the University to where its suppose to be”. The words were good and ears receive with no hard feelings. As time went on in the erstwhile calm place to be, things became sour between the various stakeholders.
The same parties which had great understanding at one time had no coherence. Administrative decisions were considered punitive by the University of Buea Students union( UBSU). The anglo-saxon academic centre for higher learning has come under intense scrutiny as fingers point in accusation for mishaps form all angles. who is responsible for the unstable UB?
